A Maryland Based Technology Services Provider
External Audit Support, Revenue Recognition and Outsourced Services
Integral Financial Group was retained by a privately held VOIP network provider based in Maryland to
provide external audit support services related to its year end audit and to review and provide
documentation for VSOE revenue recognition. As a result of turnover in staff, IFG was later asked to
provide temporary outsourced Controller and CFO services. Unlike in previous years, the Company
completed its year-end audit on time and under budget. The audit results were achieved with less attention
by full-time staff, allowing them to focus on the daily management of the finance function. A external
audit process was established that was replicable for future year-end audits. The Company concluded that
it has achieved VSOE and had detailed documentation to support its claim during the year-end audit. This
documentation could be easily updated on a go-forward basis to ensure that proper GAAP was followed in
the future. Finally, IFG successfully led the accounting function during the Company’s search for full time
finance managers and seamlessly transitioned to these individuals once they were hired.
